Description |

It can be used as an alternative for the antibiotic growth promotors to stabilise the gut microflora. This particular blend of additives works on different levels of the gut. It has a strong antibacterial effect by breaking the cell wall of harmful bacteria, and subsequently invading the bacteria cell to destroy it. Another benefit is that it supports the gut health by stimulating the growth of intestinal cell, which will allow the animal to have a better nutrient absorption. Gut Balance Booster™ is a grey, free-flowing powder for easy dosing and uniform mixing. The product can be used in broiler diets from beginning till end but specifically in the growing period 14-35 days.

PRODUCT SUMMARY |
Genetic selection allows us to hatch broilers that constantly improve their performance. The birds will eat more, grow faster and constantly enhance their feed conversion. But the length of the GIT of the animals will not change. This implicates an increased digestive stress. Undigested feed will act as a substrate for the gut flora, which may favour the growth of pathogens. These harmful bacteria can damage the gut cell walls, causing gut leakage and disrupt the microbial balance in the intestines. This becomes more and more important in AMGB free broiler diets. Gut Balance Booster™ permits the farmer to rear a healthier flock with much less gut problems. The product will reduce the number of harmful bacteria in the intestines, such as E. Coli, Salmonella and Clostridium, without affecting the good gut bacteria such as Lactobacilli. Gram-positive bacteria (as Clostridium) are affected by breaking down the cell walls, which permits the organic acids to enter the cell and reducing the intercellular pH. This will force the cell to use energy and the bacteria will die due to depletion of energy. Gut Balance Booster™ also enhances the overall digestibility by boosting the secretion of digestive enzymes. The released nutrients will be better absorbed by an intact intestinal wall. The latter will also prevent the harmful bacteria of entering the vital tissues. By controlling the gut microflora balance, there will be less inflammation in the gut and thus a better immunity for the chicken.
