2 Description EnziBlend Energy Plus is a well-balanced and stable blend of digestive enzymes, each with a beneficial effect on different targets within the feed. The product is a concentrated multi-purpose additive, specially formulated to improve overall digestibility of the (for monogastric) non digestible fiber fraction of feedstuffs. The combination of different exogenous enzymes delivers nutritionists a complete tool to better cope with the non digestible fractions inside the animal’s gut and supplies extra metabolisable energy. These bio-catalysts simply boost total feed efficiency and nutrient availability, far above the endogenous capabilities of the monogastric animal itself. EnziBlend Energy Plus™ Is a grey-whitish, free-flowing micro-granular powder for easy dosing and uniform mixing and can easily be incorporated into the premix or final feed. They complement with the limited amount of the animal’s own digestive enzymes, in order to reach a more complete digestion. Each of them are well-coated, pH-stable, and heat-resistant up to 75°C.

6 PRODUCT SUMMARY represents a wide range of specific enzymatic activities. Multiple grain sources and fiber-rich, grain by-products contain several indigestible fractions, the so called Non-Starch Polysaccharides (NSP’s). NSP’s are structural fiber networks inside plant cell walls, that are known to substantially reduce total energy digestibility of monogastric diets. Furthermore, when these NSP-substrates get solubilized, viscosity Increases so that less animal-own enzymes will reach and digest the feed particles. As a consequence, nutrient availability and feed transit are clearly affected, resulting in lower feed consumption and suboptimal litter quality. The main problem is that monogastrics do not produce the necessary degrading enzymes themselves in a sufficient way. This means that the NSP fraction in the diet remains undigestible. By applying EnziBlend Energy Plus™, the anti-nutritional NSPs inside the feed are efficiently broken down. The result at the very end of digestion is that more nutrients (mainly starch) are unlocked out of the encapsulating NSP-fibers, which are spread over the entire gut content. Consequently, more substrate is digested and entrapped micro-nutrients (e.g. oligosaccharides, amino & fatty acids, minerals) are additionally released. For the animal itself, this is translated into an overall improvement in daily growth, feed conversion and egg production, as well as in reduced intestinal viscosity and better faecal quality. For the nutritionist, a more cost-effective selection of raw materials and consequently feed formulation will be obtained.
